Sudan

Despite the end of hostilities between the Government and the People’s Liberation Army in 2005, tensions in Sudan remain high. Sustained conflict around the country’s borders and the growing influx of refugees fleeing South Sudan contribute to a climate of instability.

Since 2009, we have been working in Sudan to strengthen local civil society and support reconciliation. We partner with local leaders, civil society groups, and media outlets, using radio and TV programming, participatory theater, and mobile cinema to trigger dialogue and understanding across society.
