For years, the coastal region of Kenya has faced marginalization and political underrepresentation. We started working in Kenya in 2008, launching the award-winning soap opera The Team. We focus on healing ethnic divides, enabling constructive interaction between civil society and government actors, and transforming violent extremism in Coastal and Northern Kenya.

WORKING TOGETHER AGAINST CORONA
In July 2020, and with support from the European Union, Search launched the “Working Together against Corona” programme to fight mis-/disinformation and preserve social cohesion in conflict-affected countries amidst COVID-19.
