Emergency Relief as a Search capability enables the organization to support communities and stakeholders in moments of acute crisis, creating a holistic commitment to communities and collaboration in service to our overall peacebuilding mission.
Our Emergency Relief programs deliver both immediate emergency assistance through local partners as well as sustain short-term assistance in ongoing crises in the countries where we work. As a result, Search is a more agile and effective force for peace, able to adapt and respond to evolving humanitarian challenges with compassion and solidarity. Past programs have involved food packs to migrants on the border of Mexico-United States, hygiene kits to girls in Afghanistan, and winter blankets to families recovering from earthquakes in Syria.
