We’re working to empower youth and women in South Kordofan by providing training, supporting small businesses, and creating income opportunities. We aim to help them build a better future, strengthen their resilience, and contribute to lasting peace in their communities.
In the heart of South Kordofan, where conflict and economic hardship have long shaped daily life, a quiet transformation is being led by women and youth. Women and young people, once struggling to find financial stability, are now driving change through innovative livelihood initiatives supported by Search for Common Ground and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (France).
By investing in crop-selling, crop storage, and women and youth-led restaurant businesses, the project has provided economic relief and supported long-term resilience and empowerment for the South Kordofan communities.
