Search for Common Ground, in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is leading a three-year peacebuilding program, Daraja la Amani | Pontes de Paz, launched in April 2023. The program is being implemented in the border regions of southern Tanzania and northern Mozambique. Its primary aim is to foster peace and stability while strengthening community resilience against the influence of violent extremist organizations operating in this cross-border region. The overarching objective is to strengthen formal and informal mechanisms that build resilience in an inclusive way, and to support sustainable, community-driven solutions that address the root causes of instability, conflict, violent extremism, radicalization, and recruitment.
