North Macedonia
In North Macedonia, our staff have already established a local NGO, the Center for Common Ground (CCG). Using tools such as education, media production, public service announcements, training, and theatre, CCG leads conflict transformation across all levels of society. CCG has implemented over 20 projects across more than 20 municipalities, with support from local and regional donors. CCG was the first and is still one of the few organizations that work locally to institutionalize community action teams in response to violent extremism. In June 2021, our staff has been completely incorporated into CCG, and Search-North Macedonia has closed.
