In light of this, the aim of the Intersectional Rapid Gender and Protection Analysis (IRGPA) in Koya and Qalat Dizah is to identify the barriers, needs, and capabilities of young women and men and deepen the understanding of livelihood capacities in both locations. Accordingly, this analysis acts as a guide on how to work towards more equitable and safe outcomes in both communities. Additionally, it establishes steps for designing and implementing a gender and protection action plan for the Issuebased Collaborative Networks (ICON)1 activities, which bring together local stakeholders, including youth led and youth serving formal and informal organizations, working to strengthen youth livelihoods in Koya and Qalat Dizah.
