Côte d’Ivoire

Côte d’Ivoire

We have been working in Côte d’Ivoire since 2005 in response to the sociopolitical crisis that has affected the country at the dawn of the new millennium. Our overall aim is to support reconciliation and a restore social cohesion. To this end, we have taken a multi-stakeholder approach, working closely with actors at the national and local levels, to collaboratively bring about incremental social change. Our partners include government agencies, the National Dialogue Truth and Reconciliation Commission (CDVR), UN agencies, traditional chiefs and community leaders, women and youth organizations, and a network of 40 radio stations across the country. More than 200 community leaders are working with us to promote peace throughout Côte d’Ivoire.
