Search for Common Ground has been transforming conflict for over thirty years.

Now celebrating its 30th anniversary , Search for Common Ground is the largest non-governmental conflict transformation organization in the world. Recently listed as “one of the top 100 NGOs in the world,” and the best conflict resolution organization among those 100 leaders, SFCG sets the benchmarks defining success in peacebuilding. SFCG is growing a global network of peacebuilders by providing partnership, support and resources to local leaders and organizations.

When SFCG undertakes a new project or expands into a new country, it makes a long-term commitment to that work and that region.  We do not parachute in for temporary projects that leave no sustainable results. SFCG successfully leverages gifts from individuals like you into large government grants – sometimes at a ratio of 100:1!  This means if you make a $100 donation, is is likely to grow into $10,000 in government funding over time.  As you can see, individual donors like you are essential and at the foundation of SFCG's work.
