2007 Eliav-Sartawi Awards for Middle East Journalism
(sponsored by the Zel Lurie
Journalism Fund)
The articles considered for the 2007 Eliav-Sartawi Awards were published between May 2006 and July 2007, in a recognized newspaper, magazine or other periodical.
Each article submitted for consideration was reviewed by a distinguished international panel of judges including prominent journalists and past awardees. Each winner received a monetary award of one thousand dollars at an awards ceremony held at the Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs in New York, on November 7th, 2007.
