2006 Eliav-Sartawi Awards for Middle East Journalism (sponsored by the Zel Lurie
Journalism Fund)

The articles considered for the 2006 Eliav-Sartawi Awards were published between May 2005 and May 2006, in a recognized newspaper, magazine or other periodical.

Each article submitted for consideration was reviewed by a distinguished international panel of judges including prominent journalists and past awardees. Each winner will receive a monetary award of one thousand euro at an Award ceremony held at the United Nations in New York, on November 1st. 19:00.
