discussed at February 2009 U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee
On Thursday, February 26, 2009, the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing entitled "Engaging with Muslim Communities Around the World."
Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright began her testimony by citing the findings from Changing Course: A New Direction for U.S. Relations with the Muslim World. This was the report issued in September 2008 by the Leadership Group on U.S.-Muslim Engagement, a joint project of Search for Common Ground and the Consensus Building Institute.
