Former Common Ground Awardee (2003) wins Nobel Peace Prize

Search for Common Ground congratulates Martti Ahtisaari for winning the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel committee commended Mr. Ahtisaari "for his important efforts, on several continents and over more than three decades, to resolve serious and long-lasting international conflicts. These efforts have contributed to a more peaceful world and to 'fraternity between nations' in Alfred Nobel's spirit."
