Working Group on Human Needs and Faith-Based and Community Initiatives

On April 10, 2003, a group of leaders from civil liberties and religious groups met again and released 38 joint recommendations, agreed to by consensus, to better meet human needs through strengthening the role of faith-based and community organizations in the delivery of social services. The Working Group on Human Needs and Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, a project of Search-USA, produced its report following ten months of discussion and review by its members.
