Promoting Youth and Business: Bike Riders Association
Many of Sierra Leone's youth have struggled to find viable sources of income in a country with only limited economic infrastructure. Recently, however, the operation of motorcycle taxis has emerged as one possible solution to this challenge. SFCG-SL has responded to this problem by launching a program that brings together the Bike Riders Association (representing the taxis), community stakeholders, and the police to discuss their differences. With SFCG-SL's assistance, the Bike Riders Association has taken important steps towards the development of responsible entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone.
