The One Lebanon Youth Movement project, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), aims to empower youth in Lebanon to develop and act upon a more inclusive national identity that emphasizes the common good, shuns sectarian and ethnic divisions and inspires others. The 2010-2011 project is closely linked to season two of the Kilna Bil Hayy series.

With support from the Canadian Regional Human Rights and Peace Building Fund, the Entrenching a Culture of Peacebuilding in Lebanon's Schools project was launched in March 2011. SFCG will aim to provide the tools necessary to create a culture of peace and human rights, through a range of activities.

Leadership Training in Education

Lebanese Leadership

In 2009, Search for Common Ground (SFCG) received funding from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct a pilot program that promotes listening and problem-solving skills in schools across Lebanon. The Institutionalizing Listening and Problem Solving Skills project trained a total of 110 teachers in 7 public and private schools across Lebanon. The trainings proved to be a success with teachers and principals alike feeling inspired by the content of the training provided.

Due to the success of the Institutional Listening and Problem Solving Skills project, the Danish and Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs granted SFCG funding to expand the program. The two-year Building a Culture of Human Rights in the Leaders of Tomorrow project promotes listening and problem-solving skills in schools across Lebanon.
