Background and Research

Input for Menteng Pangkalan
Some interesting information from research undertaken during this project includes: Processes of identifying conflict group target audiences, evaluating audience needs and response throughout the production process, development of curriculum or educational guidelines for conflict resolution, developing material and series with close reference to educational output and cross fertilisation of experts working together towards developing the various aspects of the productions.

Writers Team
The Menteng Pangkalan Writers Team consists of six talented writers who constantly keep abreast of current local issues as well as trends and popular topics in order to enrich the dialogue of the soap opera and to make it as real as possible.

The writers also carry out direct research in the field as often as possible to obtain firsthand information about the thoughts and concerns of people similar to the characters in Menteng Pangkalan as well as the target audience. These trips also give the writers the opportunity to obtain other input such as recording sound effects and visualisation of different elements that appear in the programme. The writers are: Amitri Dinarsari, Eddy Soehendro, Endro Instiyanto, Linda Christanty, M. Syafari Firdaus and Ucu Agustin.

Director and Actors
Menteng Pangkalan is recorded twice a week at Internews Studio. The Sanggar Bunga Rampe Actors are directed by Azuzan JG.
