Launchings
At the end of September and in the second week of October 2003 the first two editions of Gebora were launched in three different locations. Each of the launches was attended by at least 300 children and 20 teachers and was both a fun and informative occasion with drawing competitions, discussions, drama, music and football competitions.

In addition to promotion and distribution, the aim of the launches was to gauge the audience response in relation to acceptability and understanding of the comics. Those who attended the launches filled in questionnaires and almost all of the responses were very positive both in terms of the media itself and in terms of the content. Following the launches and media coverage, to date we have had more than 300 requests from schools, institutions, parents and children interested in reading Gebora.
