Information Technology Internship

IT@Search is seeking full-time interns for our headquarters in Washington DC. The Technology Intern will assist in the design and implementation of many unique and challenging projects. Through hands-on training the Technology Intern will learn about project design, planning and implementation, different enterprise technologies, and about high standards of customer service that can be broadly applied to any industry. The scope of each internship will be tailored to the intern’s strengths and experience, building on the individual’s skills.

• Automation of computer deployments
• Application of system preventative maintenance and support
• Production of written and screencasting training materials
• Assess bandwidth optimization solutions for our 39 offices around the world
• Research, design, and implement HR, Fundraising, and CRM systems
• Design a solution for quick IT infrastructure deployment in offices abroad
• Utilize IT enterprise management systems, such as asset monitoring solutions, ticket tracking, and software deployment

• Possess or currently pursuing a degree in any information technology related field
• Good writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of Information Technology systems
• Solid Internet research skills
• Independent worker not needing close supervision
• Self-starter; organized; detail-oriented
• Experience and interest in providing front line support to staff
• Interest in international relations
