| Summary | The CGP Intern reports directly to the Executive Producer of Common Ground Productions. This is an administrative assignment that includes grants and budget management. This internship offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about these projects, and about how media is being used to promote principles of conflict resolution and peace building. Common Ground Productions (CGP) is SFCG’s media production division. Radio and television, as well as social media and the internet are platforms Search for Common Ground uses to promote peace and conflict resolution through its innovative programming. From episodic drama to reality TV or radio talk shows and music videos, Common Ground Productions is dedicated to harnessing the power of the media for peace. | Responsibilities | Acting as liaison between Executive Producer and DC office while Executive Producer is in the field. Assisting with close-out and start-up of grants; this could include processing payments to partners in the field, drafting final narrative reports, helping construct budgets. Researching various funding opportunities General clerical work |
| Minimum Qualifications | Superior skills with Excel, Word and other Microsoft software. Ability to write well in English Ability to learn quickly, work independently and to meet deadlines. Interest in conflict resolution, international relations and development |
