Search for Common Ground is probably the organization I have given to for the longest stretch of time in my life. I became involved with SFCG after meeting John Marks in the early 1980s; after hearing him speak about the organization I could see he not only had a vision, but also a clear understanding of what it would take for him to bring it to reality. I've never given large amounts of money but I have tried to consistently give.  To me, SFCG is one of the best ways to write world peace and the end of war into my monthly budget.

Abby is a retired TV newswriter and lives in Silver Spring, MD with her partner Kent. They have an RV and a motorcycle and enjoy the traveling life. Abby has two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.
