    • The Parents Circle – Israeli and Palestinian parents who have lost a child in the conflict and who work together for peace
    • Peaceoholics – a Washington, DC community group that uses non-violent conflict resolution to promote a drug-free, crime-free lifestyle for young people
    • Susan Retik & Patti Quigley – two women whose husbands died on 9/11 and who have formed an organization to improve the lives of widows in Afghanistan
