Award will honor reports promoting dialogue

Reports on the Middle East that promote understanding and acceptance, provide insight into regional issues, and encourage political dialogue are eligible for the Eliav-Sartawi Awards. Application deadline: June 30.

The annual awards are presented by Search for Common Ground (SFCG) and offer EU€1,000 (about US$1,200) to multiple winners.

Articles must have been published between May 1, 2005, and June 30, 2006, in Arab, Israeli or international publications. Articles may be written in Arabic, Hebrew or English. Articles published in other languages can be submitted if translated into English.

The winners will receive their awards at a ceremony at the United Nations in New York in November.
