Women from political organizations and of civil society of Huambo city, will participate this Monday in a workshop on "Gender, management and prevention of conflicts".

The workshop promoted by the American non governmental organization Search for Common Ground in Angola (SFCG), will take place in the framework of its strategy of aid to the consolidation of peace and national reconciliation in the counry, working with Angolans in the promotion, consciousness of their rights and obligations.

The participants who are part of the Angolan Women's Organization (OMA), Angolan Women's League (LIMA), Promaica, Angolan Women Police Association (AMPA) among others, will discuss themes linked to gender, "Gender rules before, during and after the armed conflict", "The role of the gender in the construction of peace", "Identification and removal of barriers", among other themes.

The three-day workshop, counts on the aid of the NGO National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
